Global Sales Record for Chevrolet

The top five markets that have registered sales increase over the first half of 2010 include Russia (54%), Canada (8%), China (15%), United States, (16%), and Brazil (0.4%).

The key Chevy models that played the big role in pulling up the company’s sales record include the Chevrolet Cruze compact car, Spark mini car, all new Aveo/Sonic small car, and Orlando MPV. There are two more releases coming up later this year, the all new Malibu midsize sedan and Colorado compact pickup and Chevy officials are pretty much hopeful with the releases. They belive the new releases will only accelerate the rising trend.

However, Chevrolet Cruze deserves a special mention here which has done exceptionally well in the United States and abroad and has been instrumental in the growing success of Chevrolet. More than 330,000 Cruzes were sold globally during the first half of 2011 and with a growing demand in US and China the model is soon going to hit the magic sales number of 1 million by the end of next year.
