Rob Dyrdek, MTV reality show and skateboarding extraordinaire, is known for constantly catapulting courageous to the next level. Rob recently teamed up with Sonic and it was only a matter of time before these two got together to gear up for one wild ride.

While Rob has pulled countless wild stunts with his skateboard, he’s decided to take it up another notch by maneuvering one of his usual skateboard stunts with the all-new 2012 Chevy Sonic.

“I am always looking for a new challenge, and a kick flip with the Chevy Sonic was a no-brainer,” said Rob. “I am a Chevy guy from my ’69 to my new Camaro to the Tahoe I drive every day. The Sonic’s power and sportiness make it the perfect vehicle for this awesome stunt.”

2012 Chevy Camaro – The First Sports Car to top tougher NHTSA Safety Rating

When rating cars based on their safety features, sports cars are not expected to come top on the list. But to our surprise, 2012 Chevy Camaro Coupe has managed to become the first vehicle to earn all perfect scores in the revised New Car Assessment Program from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Bale Chevrolet, the leading Chevy dealership in Little Rock, AR, is bustling with joy upon this success! The new Chevy Camaro has passed all the safety tests with flying colors scoring a perfect five star rating across the board.

NHTSA upgraded its crash testing standard last year where it included more rigorous testing methods. Based on that, the Chevy Camaro earned five stars in the frontal crash, side crash, rollover and overall categories, making it both the first sports car and the first vehicle on the market to accomplish the feat.

The Chevy Camaro comes with the latest state-of-the-art steel safety cage and six standard air bags along with anti-lock brakes, StabiliTrak Electronic Stability Control, and six months of OnStar Automatic Crash Response that help passengers to stay safe on roads.

If you are looking for the safest convertible then 2012 Chevy Camaro convertible has earned a five-star safety rating in the rollover category, making it a prime candidate for anyone seeking a safe convertible although a full- fledged rating by the NHTSA is still pending.

And if you are seeking for more power then you just be delighted to know that Chevrolet has already unveiled the 2013 Camaro ZL1 convertible at the LA Auto Show last month. Chevy's most powerful production convertible ever will share the same 580-horsepower LS9 V8 engine as the ZL1 coupe when it goes on sale in late 2012.

The Camaro ZL1 coupe and the Camaro ZL1 convertible have many structural similarities so that the convertible has a smooth riding experience like a coupe with the open air experience of a convertible.
